What This Site Does

P&L Chart by Pine is a free web tool for tracking SPX butterfly options trades in real time. It runs entirely in your browser. We do not require accounts, logins, or personal information to use the tool.

This tool is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, or trading advice.

Data We Collect

We do not require accounts, logins, or registration. Trade inputs you enter are parsed in your browser. Option symbols derived from your input are sent to our API proxy to fetch live market quotes. No raw trade text is transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Cloudflare, our infrastructure provider, processes your IP address for rate limiting and security. Our API proxy may process IP addresses transiently for logging and security purposes; these are not written to disk or stored persistently.

Your browser may automatically send Content Security Policy (CSP) violation reports containing page URLs and request metadata. These reports are used solely for security monitoring and are not linked to individual users.

Our hosting and infrastructure providers (Cloudflare, Google, jsDelivr) may also process technical data such as IP addresses, browser type, and request metadata as part of delivering this service. See Third-Party Services below.

Legal Basis for Processing

Consent: Advertising cookies and tracking scripts are loaded only after you give explicit consent.

Legitimate interest: Cloudflare processes IP addresses for rate limiting and security to protect the service from abuse. Our API proxy may process IP addresses transiently for security logging. Infrastructure providers process technical data as necessary to deliver the site securely.

Data Retention

Raw trade text is not transmitted or retained by us. Option symbols sent for quote fetching are not logged or stored. IP addresses used for rate limiting are held in server memory only and are not persisted. Advertising cookies set by Google follow Google's retention policies. Your preference (pnl-prefs) remains in your browser's local storage until you clear it or click "Manage Preferences."

Cookies

This site uses Google AdSense and Google Ad Manager to display advertisements. Advertising cookies are only loaded with your consent. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings or aboutads.info.

Your preference is stored in your browser's local storage (pnl-prefs). If you decline, no advertising scripts or cookies are loaded. Google sets its own cookies after consent; see Google's cookie policy for details.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the "Manage Preferences" link in the site footer. Withdrawing consent is as simple as giving it.

Third-Party Services

The following third-party services are used to operate this site. Infrastructure providers process technical data (such as IP addresses) as necessary to operate the site securely and reliably.

Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States. Google and Stripe participate in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Cloudflare relies on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and other approved transfer mechanisms. jsDelivr is operated within the EU but uses a global CDN. Refer to each provider's privacy policy for details.

Your Rights

Because this site does not maintain user accounts or store personal data persistently, there is typically no data for us to provide, correct, or delete. We do not sell or share your personal information. Your ad consent preference is stored in your own browser and can be cleared by clicking "Manage Preferences" or clearing your browser data. If you believe any of your personal data has been processed by a third-party service used on this site, you may exercise your rights directly with that provider (see Third-Party Services) or contact us at info@pinemeridian.com and we will assist where we can.

For EU residents: Under the GDPR, you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectify (Art. 16), erase (Art. 17), restrict processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and object to processing (Art. 21) of your personal data. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because this site is operated from Finland, the relevant authority is the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto), P.O. Box 800, FI-00531 Helsinki, Finland.

For California residents: Under the CCPA, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion. As stated above, we do not collect or store personal data. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA.

Do Not Track

We do not track users across websites. If you decline advertising cookies, no tracking scripts are loaded.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 (as defined by COPPA) or under 16 (as defined by the GDPR). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
